Transparent Heater Window

High-altitude UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), UCAVs (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles), and maritime platforms require heated windows for camera lenses to prevent icing and fogging. TEKNOMA manufactures transparent heated windows, typically by applying an ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) coating onto BK7 or Borosilicate glass, followed by two electrodes. These electrodes are made of Gold (Au) and support specialized soldering. They provide strong surface adhesion and do not peel or delaminate during temperature fluctuations.

Upon request, an RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) can also be coated to monitor surface temperature. Heated windows are delivered with cables pre-soldered, allowing for immediate adhesion testing. Electrode coating and cabling can also be applied to IR (Infrared) windows. We utilize our in-house infrastructure to shape windows according to specific CAD designs and perform both ITO and electrode coating.

Furthermore, these windows provide electromagnetic shielding of over -20 dB in the microwave spectrum. S-parameter tests (S11, S21, S12, and S22) are conducted using our in-house Vector Network Analyzer.
